1. Introduction
Welcome to Ubinoq ("we", "our", or "us"). We provide an automated statutory compliance health check service for e-commerce websites. This Privacy Policy outlines our practices regarding the collection, storage, processing, and protection of user account information, submitted URLs, and website audit records.
2. Authentication & Google Login Data
We use Google OAuth 2.0 for secure user authentication. We do not operate a traditional username/password system. When you authenticate using Google, we receive and securely store only the following profile attributes:
- Your unique Google User Identifier (
google_id) - Your registered email address
- Your full name
- Your Google profile avatar URL
We do not request, access, or store your Google password, Google Drive contents, contacts, or any other unrelated Google account permissions.
3. Submitted Website URLs & Crawled Content
When you submit an e-commerce website URL for a Compliance Health Check:
- Our automated crawler fetches publicly indexable HTML pages (up to 30 priority pages such as Grievance, Terms, Refund, Checkout, and Product pages).
- We extract and analyze public textual declarations to evaluate compliance indicators against statutory requirements.
- Audit results and evidence snippets are linked to your user account in our database so you can access your report history.
4. Public Transparency vs. Private Scans
To foster statutory transparency across e-commerce, recently checked store domain names and scan dates may be displayed on our homepage under "Recently Checked Websites". We never publicly disclose your name, email address, Google account information, or full audit evidence. Only the domain name and a high-level summary count are visible publicly.
5. Cookies and Session Storage
We utilize strictly necessary session cookies (session.cookie_httponly, SameSite) to manage your authenticated state and prevent Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF). We do not use intrusive third-party cross-site advertising trackers.
6. Data Retention & Security
All user and scan records are stored in a secured MySQL database utilizing PDO prepared statements and strict access controls. Access to audit reports is strictly isolated so that only the user who initiated the scan can access detailed evidence cards.
